Titans vs. Raiders 2013 picks and predictions: Tennessee getting love
In a must-win for both teams, it will likely be a battle to see which quarterback makes the least mistakes.
Oakland is coming off a 28-23 win over the Houston Texans, which essentially kept the Raiders' season alive. Rookie quarterback Matt McGloin made his debut and was terrific, throwing for three touchdowns without tossing an interception.
On the other hand, Tennessee lost a heartbreaker to the Indianapolis Colts at home with a chance to get back into the AFC South race. Leading 14-0, the Titans could not hold onto the lead and fell to 4-6 on the season, now desperately trying to stay in the wild card picture.
Over at CBSSports.com, the experts are split on whether Tennessee covers the 1.5-point spread. The eight-man panel is also split on who will take the game, showing how close these two teams are perceived to be.
At SBNation.com, this contest is shown to be a coin-flip with the six men being unable to give a majority vote.
The Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer is going with a three-point win for the silver and black. ESPN’s group of experts favors Tennessee slightly with an 8-5 split.
