Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson reached another career milestone on Sunday. With more than 67 rushing yards against the Green Bay Packers, Peterson passed Barry Sanders with the third-most running yards in his first 100 games.

The future Hall of Famer can add another milestone to his resume.

Sanders was previously in third place with 9,766 yards. Eric Dickerson and Jim Brown are the only running backs with more.
It’s another impressive feat for Peterson, who is quickly building a Hall of Fame resume. He might have challenged Dickerson’s record for most yards in 100 games if he didn’t tear his ACL late in the 2011 season. Peterson came back from that injury and had one of the best seasons ever for a running back in 2012. He rushed for 2,097 yards, 12 touchdowns and won the MVP award while leading the Vikings to the playoffs.
The Vikings will probably not go to the playoffs again this season, but they’re beating up on the Packers this week, leading 20-7. Peterson currently has 83 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.
