Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin has outlined some of the alleged abuse that took place while he was with the organization. Speaking through his lawyer the focus of the investigation is currently on a 2012 party that took place at the home of Mike Pouncey, where it's alleged Martin sustained a "malicious physical attack on him by a teammate." Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald outlined more information from the ongoing investigation.

NFL investigator Ted Wells was told by a friend of Martin's that Richie Incognito became "more than playful" when he began punching Martin on the night of the party. Wells was also told that a lot more happened to Martin which has not yet been reported.
Martin is reportedly expecting that his career in Miami is over, but has stopped short of making any final determination because he’s unsure if the team will cut him.
“Martin, at this point, doesn’t believe returning to the Dolphins is realistic but hasn’t ruled anything out and hasn’t conveyed his intentions to the Dolphins, a friend said. Because the trade deadline has passed, the Martin camp doesn’t believe it’s likely he will play this season, believing the Dolphins are unlikely to release him.”
Latest reports paint the picture of an offensive line unit that fed off each other. Incognito serving as ringleader for teasing and abuse, while Pouncey gave him the positive reinforcement to keep it going. Wells’ investigation has not concluded, but he has received a lot of information that needs to be sifted through. Some members of the Dolphins don’t seem enamored with having to meet with the NFL investigator.
”Several defensive players said they had nothing useful to tell Wells, and another player said he wasn’t sure he would be forthright with Wells. And several said their sessions lasted only 10 minutes or less, including Mike Wallace. Ryan Tannehill told us his interview “was an hour I didn’t want to spend.”
It’s unclear how long it will take to finalize the NFL’s investigation of the Dolphins, especially with information building on both sides. Some players have reported teasing ranging from playful to more serious, while others have said the Dolphins’ locker room is similar to other teams around the NFL.
The Miami Dolphins face the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 and are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. Regardless of the veracity of Martin's claims the league's investigation is a distraction for the team and could influence its ability down the stretch.
