Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali was taken off of the field on Sunday in their game against the San Diego Chargers with an apparent knee injury. Hali was immediately placed on a cart on the sideline and taken to the locker room.

The Chiefs Pro Bowl linebacker appears to have a knee injury.

UPDATE 11:52 AM: According to Arrowhead Pride, Houston and Hali are out for the rest of the game.
Hali had been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons. He has nine sacks in 10 games this year and has 44.5 sacks since 2010. Hali has teamed with Justin Houston, who has 11 sacks of his own, as one of the most productive pass-rushing tandems in the NFL.
He was replaced by Frank Zombo, a fourth-year player that has played very sparingly in his career. Zombo has spent the last three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and has 40 career tackles with five career sacks. Zombo has appeared in all 10 games this year but has just one tackle and a fumble recovery.
Update 10:56 AM -- Hali has an ankle injury and is questionable to return, per Arrowhead Pride.
