Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston was looked at by trainers on the field on Sunday and left the game against the San Diego Chargers with an elbow injury according to Arrowhead Pride. His return is questionable. Houston collided with a Chargers offensive player and was down on the field before walking off of the field on his own power. The Chiefs have already lost linebacker Tamba Hali with an ankle injury, and he is questionable to return.
Justin Houston injury: Chiefs linebacker taken off field with elbow injury
Teammate Tamba Hali has already left the game with an ankle injury, leaving Kansas City even more shorthanded against the Chargers.

UPDATE 11:52 AM: According to Arrowhead Pride, Houston and Hali are out for the rest of the game.
Houston leads the team with 11 sacks this season. Combined with Hali’s nine sacks, they have more total sacks than any other teammates in the NFL this year. The third-year pro had 10 sacks a year ago and made his first Pro Bowl appearance. Hali and Houston are the teams starting outside linebackers and a big reason why the Chiefs are 9-1 this season, turning around their 2-14 finish last year.
The Chiefs main backup at outside linebacker is Frank Zombo and he is already in the game in place of Hali. Josh Martin is listed as the other backup at outside linebacker on the Chiefs depth chart.
