Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy's brief absence during overtime of his team's game against the Minnesota Vikings was due to an ashma flareup, Mike Clemens is reporting.
Eddie Lacy left Vikings game because of asthma flareup
Lacy missed the majority of the Packers’ overtime period against the Vikings.

Lacy spent most of the extra period in the locker room getting checked out, finally returning on the team’s final drive. The Packers could have used his hard running during an overtime period where they could muster only a field goal as the game ended in a 26-26 tie.
The rookie’s asthma attack was apparently prompted by the cold -- the high in Green Bay during the game was 25 degrees. That sounds like it could be an issue moving forward, as it’s only going to get colder.
The Packers came back from down 16 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime, and Lacy’s pounding ground attack was one of the major factors in the game. He slowly wore the Vikings’ defensive front down with punishing runs, rushing for 100 yards on 25 carries and scoring a three-yard touchdown.
