The Denver Broncos are beating the New England Patriots handily at halftime by a score of 17-0.
Patriots vs. Broncos score update: Denver up 24-0 at halftime
The Patriots have fumbled themselves to a 24-point deficit.

Things did not start well for the Patriots. Stevan Ridley fumbled on New England's first drive of the game, and Von Miller returned it for a touchdown to give the Broncos a 7-0 lead. On the next possession, Miller sacked Tom Brady to force another fumble and set up a Knowshon Moreno touchdown. The Patriots lost three fumbles in the first half and had a hard time getting anything going offensively as a result.
Peyton Manning got a comfortable cushion to start the game, but he didn't play a huge role in the Broncos' tremendous first half. Instead, the defense and Moreno were the stars. Moreno rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown in the first half alone. With the cold weather and early lead, the Broncos have stuck to the running game.
