The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos not only lost their Week 12 games in brutal fashion, but a multitude of important players in the process.
AFC West injuries, Week 12: Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and many more
The division was ravaged by injuries on a cold day across the country.

For the Chiefs, they watched their two great pass-rushers get assisted off the field. First, Tamba Hali needed to be helped off and then carted to the locker room with what is being called a mid-ankle sprain, per USA Today. Justin Houston followed shortly thereafter, bending his elbow in a grotesque way. The initial diagnosis is a subluxation of the elbow.
Both will be undergoing MRI tests on Monday to determine the severity of the injuries.
As for Denver, running back Knowshon Moreno was seen leaving Gillette Stadium on crutches after hobbling around most of the fourth quarter and overtime on an apparent bad ankle. Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was hurt in a very strange fashion, diving for an underthrown Hali Mary attempt on the final play of the first half. He injured his shoulder and did not return, per ESPN. Both are scheduled to undergo MRIs on Monday.
Defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson also went down with a hip injury in the second half and did not return. Like his teammates, he will be undergoing tests on Monday. Special teamer Omar Bolden sustained a concussion and will be evaluated as the week progresses, per Jack Del Rio.
Speaking of concussions, the Oakland Raiders suffered a pair in their loss to the Tennessee Titans. Tight end Mychal Rivera and cornerback Mike Jenkins both had to leave the action with head injuries. With the Raiders playing on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys, it is highly unlikely either will play.
