The Cleveland Browns watched their quarterback go down and their faint playoff disappear on Sunday, with Jason Campbell sustaining a concussion.
NFL injury report, AFC North: Jason Campbell suffers concussion
Cleveland lost a pivotal game and its quarterback on Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Campbell was knocked out for good in the third quarter with a concussion, leaving the Browns fans in the cold to watch Brandon Weeden make a comeback attempt. Ultimately, he fell very short in a 27-11 defeat at home.
Campbell will go through the NFL protocol for concussions, putting him through a battery of tests. His status for next week will not be determined for at least a few days.
In the same game, Pittsburgh lost nose tackle Steve McLendon to what is thought to be a season-ending broken ankle. Also, cornerback Curtis Brown went down in the contest with an apparent knee injury. He was not hit or hitting on the play, and remained on the turf afterwards in obvious pain. He did not return to the game.
