NFL picks and predictions, Week 13: Raiders vs. Cowboys 2013
The Oakland Raiders will take on the Dallas Cowboys in a Week 13 matchup on Thursday.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports
The Oakland Raiders are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in a Thanksgiving game Thursday. Oakland (4-7) is actually not eliminated from playoff contention given that there have been multiple struggling teams in the AFC this season. Dallas (6-5) is still contending for the NFC East, a division that has disappointed as a whole.
Still, the Cowboys are in first place in said division, with quality wins over each team within it. But if Dallas can't beat a team like the Raiders, then there is really no hope in the playoffs, when it all comes down to it. The Cowboys have alternated wins and losses in their last five games, with the most recent result being a win over the rival New York Giants in Week 12.
Oakland lost its last outing, a 23-19 defeat at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. But the Raiders have had some solid wins this season, and could surprise the Cowboys in the end.
As far as SB Nation’s panel of experts is concerned, the Raiders won’t succeed in that effort, however. All six of the experts -- Ryan Van Bibber, Joel Thorman, Jason Chilton, Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford -- believe that the Cowboys are primed to win this one at home.

All of the experts over at CBS Sports think the Cowboys will win this one, as well. That list includes guys like Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora and Will Brinson. The Raiders aren’t getting much love at this point.
