Raiders vs. Cowboys 2013 results: Dallas makes late comeback, beats Oakland 31-24
The Cowboys rode DeMarco Murray to victory on Turkey Day.

Just like he has done throughout his career in the month of November, Tony Romo found a way to get it done in the Dallas Cowboys' 31-24 win over the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders scored 12 seconds into the game after Terrance Williams fumbled the opening kickoff for the Cowboys. Oakland recovered the ball and returned it for a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead. The Cowboys answered later in the first quarter when DeMarco Murray scored a 2-yard touchdown.
That's when the Raiders took over, scoring 14 straight points on two 1-yard touchdown runs from Rashad Jennings. For a while, Oakland seemed to have complete control of the game.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, couldn’t get into rhythm on offense. Just ask Doug Free how dominant the Raiders were.
That was the last time the Raiders scored until a late field goal from Sebastian Janikowski.
Murray added another touchdown before halftime, and Romo had the Cowboys' offense clicking coming out of intermission. Dez Bryant caught a touchdown midway through the third quarter on an impressive contested catch in the corner of the end zone. Then, Murray became the first Cowboys running back to score three rushing touchdowns in a game since Julius Jones did it in 2004.
The Cowboys’ win pushed them to 7-5 on the year and gave them a half-game lead in the NFC East. The Eagles can match their record with a win Dec. 1 vs. Arizona.
Now we’ll see if Romo can maintain some of this high level of play when the calendar flips to December.
Fantasy Studs and Duds
The two running backs were the fantasy studs of the game. Rashad Jennings scored two touchdowns and DeMarco Murray scored three, making them the biggest fantasy stars of Thanksgiving.
Injury Report
Raiders cornerback Mike Jenkins left the game in the fourth quarter after having a strong game up to that point. Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar injured his knee late in the game as well.
The scariest injury occurred late when Rashad Jennings left with a head injury on this play.
Did They Cover?
The Cowboys were 9.5-point favorites, according to OddsShark.com, so they didn’t cover the spread thanks to the late Raiders field goal.
