NFL odds and lines, Week 13: Saints vs. Seahawks 2013
The Seahawks are favored over the Saints for their “Monday Night Football” matchup in Week 13.

The New Orleans Saints will take on the Seattle Seahawks in a hotly anticipated Monday Night Football matchup for Week 13. Both teams are among the best in the NFL, with the Saints holding a 9-2 record and the Seahawks (10-1) unblemished save for their game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Saints are riding a three-game winning streak, including a hard-fought 23-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. They've lost to the New England Patriots (30-27, Week 6) and the New York Jets (26-20, Week 9). The latter is obviously the worse loss of the two, but the Saints have been excellent otherwise. Seattle fell to the Colts in Week 5, 34-28, but have yet to lose at home, and the Seahawks have won their last six games.
It should be a close game, but the Seahawks are favored by a solid margin. They opened as 5-point favorites, though some oddsmakers have widened the margins, with the Seahawks able to be had favored by 6 points or slightly more. Most have Seattle at 5.5-point favorites, according to OddsShark.
One important note is that the game is being played in Seattle. The home-field advantage there is significant, especially coupled with the fact that New Orleans is a much better team at home than on the road.
The over/under for the matchup opened at 47 points. That total has gone over in four of New Orleans’ last six games, and over in six of Seattle’s last nine games as well.
