Denver Broncos head coach John Fox said on Thursday that he plans to return to the team on Monday and coach next week against the Tennessee Titans, according to FOX's Jay Glazer. Fox was not sure if he'd be coaching from the booth or the sidelines as he returns from the heart surgery he had on Nov. 4.

Denver will play one more game without its head coach, but should get him back in less than a week.

The long-time head coach of the Carolina Panthers and Broncos returned to Denver this week, and it appears he has been given the go-ahead by doctors to return to his coaching duties. The team is 2-1 under interim head coach and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, the former coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Broncos travel to Kansas City in Week 13 for a rematch with the Chiefs in a meeting of two 9-2 AFC West teams fighting for the number one seed. Denver beat Kansas City, 27-17, two weeks ago under Del Rio.
