Derek Wolfe injury: Broncos DE ruled out vs. Chiefs Sunday
The Broncos will be without Derek Wolfe after he didn’t travel with the team to Kansas City.

Wolfe went to the hospital for testing and evaluation on his illness, determining the cause. It’s unknown what kind of ailment he has. This is the first game Wolfe will miss this season after he started the first 11 games. He has four sacks, 16 tackles and two fumble recoveries on the season.
Wolfe's loss is another blow to the Broncos' defensive line, which already lost defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson for the year with a knee injury. Robert Ayers and Malik Jackson are expected to replace Wolfe and play in a rotational set. The Broncos have another tough matchup after dropping to 9-2 in a wild overtime loss to the New England Patriots. They need to beat the Chiefs again to stay on top in the race for homefield advantage.
