At the top of the Week 9 injury report for the AFC South is one unexpected name. Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed as the team was leaving the field for halftime against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. Kubiak was wheeled away on a stretcher before being placed in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. A heart attack has been ruled out, but Kubiak is reportedly still in a hospital undergoing tests.

NFL fans held their collective breath after Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed at halftime against the Colts. More on him, as well as Arian Foster and Darrius Heyward-Bey from Sunday in the AFC South.

The Texans fell in a comeback 27-24 loss to the Colts. Players said that Kubiak's collapse contributed to a poor second half performance. The loss of a star player, Arian Foster, probably didn't help either.
Foster suffered a back injury early in Sunday’s game and did not return. Entering the weekend, he was listed as questionable because of a hamstring injury. Foster was marked active, but did not record a carry before being removed from action. There is no word yet on his status for Week 10 and beyond.
The Colts also suffered a setback to an offensive player. Wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was dealt a concussion in the second half of Sunday's win. Like Foster, he entered the weekend as questionable with a hamstring injury before being activated, then left with an unrelated ailment. Heyward-Bey was expected to play a larger role within the Colts' offense with Reggie Wayne on injured reserve, but he managed just one reception for 11 yards before leaving.
The Tennessee Titans were the only AFC South team that played this weekend that managed to leave their matchup relatively unscathed. No major injuries were reported after their win over the St. Louis Rams. The Jacksonville Jaguars were on a bye.
