Andre Brown injury: Giants RB ready for debut in Week 10
Andre Brown was given a special set of plays in practice Monday in preparation for his Week 10 debut for the Giants.

“They threw me some special plays out there,” Brown said. “They want to get me back in football shape. They want to kind of ease me into this thing. That’s what they plan on doing and we’ll go from there.”
After battling a lack of depth throughout the year, the Giants suddenly find themselves with four running backs vying for carries. Brandon Jacobs is back in practice after missing two games with a hamstring injury, joining Brown and the relatively healthy Peyton Hillis and Michael Cox.
Brown arguably has the highest ceiling among the four backs. He was a brief sensation for the Giants last season, averaging 5.3 yards per carry on his way to 385 yards rushing and eight touchdowns before breaking his left leg against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12. Brown broke the same leg in the Giants' final preseason game before the 2013 season opener.
