Ravens vs. Browns 2013: Cleveland celebrates after beating Baltimore

The Browns beat the Ravens for the first time in 11 tries on Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns held off the Baltimore Ravens for a 24-18 win on Sunday. It was the first time Cleveland had beaten Baltimore in 11 games, and it moved the Browns into second place in the division.

Needless to say, Browns fans were fired up about beating a bitter rival. Here’s what the folks at Dawgs By Nature had to say about the win:

This win couldn’t have come at a better time for this Browns team. They beat a division rival in the Ravens for the first time in 11 tries, and then get to hit the bye week before traveling to Cincinnati. The Browns can now get healthy and will have two weeks to prepare for the Bengals. With the Browns trailing by two games in the division the game in two weeks will be huge. The Browns dug in on Sunday and toughed out a victory. It’ll take another big performance to take down the Bengals, but they’ve done it once already this year. The Bengals lost to the Dolphins Thursday, and will now travel to Baltimore on Sunday.

A year after winning the Super Bowl, the Ravens have struggled to play consistent ball this season. It's been frustrating for the the fans in Baltimore after such a successful finish to last season. Here's what Baltimore Beatdown took away from the game:

The offense and special teams, once again, did the defense no favors. For the majority of the first half, the Ravens’ offense was stagnant, this after a bye week that supposedly refreshed this team. This loss keeps the Ravens where they were prior to Cincinnati’s loss to Miami, and jumps the Browns into second place of the AFC North.
