Aaron Rodgers injury: Packers QB has no timetable on return

Aaron Rodgers confirmed he has a fractured collarbone and has no timetable for a return.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed that he fractured his collarbone in Monday night's loss to the Chicago Bears. He has offered no timetable for a return, despite an earlier report saying he will miss about three weeks.

Speaking with ESPN’s Jason Wilde, Rodgers says that it’s a difficult kind of injury with no specific rehab, and he is not sure when he will be able to return. He’s going in for more tests on Tuesday.

Rodgers suffered the injury on the opening drive of Monday’s game. He was hoping to make a return to the game, but came back out on the field in street clothes in the second half. Rodgers got emotional describing the injury and his absence from the game.

Seneca Wallace replaced Rodgers in the game and is the likely starter going forward. The Packers' only other quarterback on the roster is Scott Tolzien, who is on the practice squad. Green Bay may sign a veteran free agent to provide depth while Rodgers is out.
