The Bears may be without Jay Cutler for a bit longer. The Chicago quarterback was on the Waddle and Silvy Show on ESPN 1000, and told the hosts that he wants to play on Sunday, but still has not been cleared. Cutler is currently rehabbing a groin tear that he suffered against the Redskins in Week 7.
Jay Cutler injury: QB not sure if he will play against the Lions
The Bears may have Josh McCown under center for another game.

The Bears were on bye in Week 8, but won Sunday with Josh McCown at quarterback against the Packers. McCown led five scoring drives and threw for two touchdowns, while avoiding any interceptions. Cutler is 4-3 as a starter this season and has thrown for 1,658 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
The Bears face the Lions on Sunday, and are currently in a three-way tie with Detroit and Green Bay for the NFC North. While having Cutler in the lineup would be ideal, McCown has played well in relief of the fallen starter.
