Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno is expected to play on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Knowshon Moreno injury: Broncos RB expected to play vs. Chiefs
The Broncos running back is expected to play a week after his huge game against the Patriots.

The veteran running back injured his ankle on his final carry of the night in last week's 34-31 loss to the New England Patriots. Moreno had been relatively quiet this season for the high-flying Broncos offense, with 600 yard rushing on 150 carries heading into the game against the Patriots. The fifth-year player suddenly became the workhorse for the Broncos, however, gaining 224 yards on 37 carries before leaving the game with his injury.
The big game puts Moreno on pace to have his best season for the Broncos since his rookie year in 2009, when he gained 947 yards on 247 carries in 16 games. Moreno has struggled with injury the past two seasons, playing in just 15 games the past two years combined.
The Broncos play the Chiefs at 4:25 p.m. ET with coverage on CBS.
