Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is frustrated with his team's season, but he insists he wasn't taking any shots at offensive coordinator Todd Haley after their latest loss. During his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan, Roethlisberger claims that his comments were blown out of proportion.

“It’s unbelievable,” Roethlisberger said during his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan. “It gets blown up and it’s by reporters that come in there and ask the dumbest questions after a game, and it makes it ridiculous when they only take part of your answer.
“It was taken way out of context. There is absolutely no issue between Coach Haley and I. I love where this offense is right now.”
The relationship between Roethlisberger and Haley has been under heavy scrutiny ever since Haley took over for Bruce Arians after the 2011 season. Things took another turn after the Steelers' 34-28 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. When reporters asked Roethlisberger about the offense, he replied, "Coach Haley is over there. You should probably ask him." Roethlisberger later said that people are reading too much into that comment and he has confidence in Haley's offensive scheme.
“But in no way shape or form was the [comment] directed negatively at him. I think the offense is as good as it’s been in a long time. We’ve got guys doing some great things. I genuinely am enjoying this offense and what Coach Haley is doing and where we’re going. We’re getting [better] every week, and I think we can keep getting better.”
The Steelers dropped to 5-8 and their playoff hopes are all but over. They are one loss away from having the first losing season in Roethlisberger's NFL career. Pittsburgh last finished below .500 in 2003, when it went 6-10. That record put the team in a position to draft Roethlisberger in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
