NFL Week 15 picks: Predictions for all 16 games

With just three weeks left in the regular season, the playoff races around the NFL are heating up. Who did our NFL staffers pick to win in Week 15?

Jonathan Ferrey

Coming off possibly the most entertaining week of the NFL season, this week’s schedule doesn’t appear to be as good, at least on paper. There aren’t any battles for conference supremacy or head-to-head matchups for division leads. Still, Week 15 figures to be another crucial week for playoff standings and SB Nation’s NFL experts are back to predict all of the games.

There wasn’t a lot of disagreement among panel members this week, with unanimous winners selected in eight of the 16 games. That includes the bout in Atlanta, where the Atlanta Falcons were a unanimous choice over the Washington Redskins. The Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs were also unanimous picks to win.

Fourteen of the 16 games on the schedule have direct playoff implications, but none may impact the standings more than the games in Dallas and Detroit. The Dallas Cowboys (7-6) will host the Green Bay Packers (6-6-1), and four of the six experts picked Dallas to win. The Detroit Lions (7-6) and Baltimore Ravens (7-6) will play on Monday, and the Lions are the heavy favorite according to the panel, with five of the six experts picking Detroit.

If the expert picks prove to be true, not much will change in the current playoff standings. The Ravens and Dolphins would remain tied for the final wild card spot in the AFC. The current NFC playoff teams would also remain the same.
