Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman announced that quarterback Jay Cutler will be the starter in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, barring an unexpected setback.
Jay Cutler to start vs. Browns on Sunday
Cutler will be practicing in full this week and is on track to make his return against the Browns in Week 15.

Cutler is expected to be a full participant in practice this week and should be ready to go for Week 15. He missed the past four games with a sprained ankle. Josh McCown has filled in for Cutler and performed well in his place. He led the Bears to a 3-2 record and kept them in the playoff race. McCown won NFC Offensive Player of the Week after carving up the Dallas Cowboys for 348 yards and four touchdowns in a Monday night rout.
Despite McCown’s good performance, Trestman has been adamant that Cutler is the starter when healthy. The 34-year-old journeyman will head back to the bench for now. Cutler has thrown for 1,908 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in nine games this season while dealing with groin and ankle injuries.
