Chargers vs. Broncos 2013 odds: Denver enters a heavy favorite
San Diego and Denver square off in a game rife with playoff implications.
The San Diego Chargers visit the Denver Broncos on Thursday night in a contest rekindling a rivalry which dates back to the American Football League.
Denver is a heavy favorite, laying 10.5 points coming into the game, according to Oddsshark.com. The over/under is 55.5 for these two explosive teams.
At 11-2, the Broncos are cruising towards the playoffs. Denver currently sits in the No. 1 seed of the AFC and could wrap up the division this week. To do so, it would need to win and have the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
The Chargers on the other hand are simply trying to pull a mini-miracle and slide into the sixth seed. San Diego is 6-7 and likely needs to win out to vault past the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens, both of whom are 7-6. In the first meeting between these two teams, the Broncos won 28-20.
