Denver Broncos nose tackle Terrance Knighton said that he is not a fan of Thursday Night Football, going so far as to say that the NFL does not "really care" about the players and that it's more about "their logo, making money," according to the Denver Post's Joan Niesen
Broncos’ Terrance Knighton no fan of Thursday Night Football
With Denver set to take on the San Diego Chargers on Thursday, Knighton says his body simply isn’t ready and that the NFL cares more about the money than the players.

Knighton added that by Thursday his body is only about “75, 80 percent” recovered from the previous game and that he’s not truly ready to go until Sunday morning.
The Broncos take on the San Diego Chargers on Thursday.
Other Broncos’ players also said they weren’t big fans of Thursday Night Football, but Knighton was perhaps the most vocal, calling the decision to play a game so close to another game “terrible” before the reporter could get out the full question.
Knighton is a five-year NFL veteran playing his first season with the Broncos after spending four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has started all 13 games this season and has three sacks, but apparently doesn't think that he's quite ready for his 14th game by Thursday.
