Packers vs. Cowboys 2013 picks and predictions: Both teams need a win, Dallas should get it
Both Dallas and Green Bay need a win on Sunday, but the experts believe it is Dallas who will come out on top.

Despite the fact that both the Packers and Cowboys are hovering around the .500 mark, both teams are in the hunt for division titles and will be coveting a win on Sunday. Despite Dallas' poor defense, a potentially Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay team has the experts giving the edge to the Cowboys.

The status of Rodgers is the big question mark surrounding this game, though he still has not been cleared to play. Rodgers did take some snaps with the first team in practice on Wednesday, but it still seems likely that Matt Flynn will make his third straight start at quarterback. Considering how poor the Dallas defense is -- they gave up 348 yards in the air to the Bears on Monday night -- being without Rodgers may not be the end of the world.
The Cowboys will be glad to have this important game at home, where they are 5-1 this season. In a match-up that’s as close as this one could be, home field advantage might prove to be the difference. The SB Nation experts seem to be thinking along those lines as Joel Thorman, Stephen White, David Fucillo, Matt Ufford all picked the Cowboys. Only Ryan Van Bibber and Jason Chilton think the Packers can get a win at AT&T Stadium.
Those predictions hold up when compared with the ESPN experts, who predominantly predicted a Cowboys victory.
