Aaron Rodgers injury: Packers QB ruled out for Sunday

Rodgers is out yet again, making Matt Flynn the Packers’ starting quarterback for Sunday’s pivotal matchup against the Cowboys.

Aaron Rodgers has officially been ruled out by the Green Bay Packers for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Matt Flynn will make his fourth straight start in what is shaping up to be a must-win game for the Packers. Rodgers was reportedly none-too-happy with the decision:

Rodgers is still recovering from the broken collarbone he suffered in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears. He has been practicing since the lead-up to Week 13, but only in a limited fashion. Rodgers' was held out of reps again Friday, and Rodgers stood dejected along the sideline:

Rodgers' status will be revisited again in Week 16, and he could play, though that won't help a Packers squad this week as they try to thrust themselves prominently into the NFC playoff picture. At 6-6-1 overall, the Packers need to win out, and hope that the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears lose some games, if they want to sneak into the postseason.
