The Green Bay Packers will have to play another week without quarterback Aaron Rodgers, as the three-time Pro Bowler has been ruled out for the team's Week 15 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL roundup: Aaron Rodgers out, NFL studying NHL replay
Aaron Rodgers will miss a sixth consecutive game and he’s “disappointed and frustrated” with the slow recovery.

Rodgers, 30, suffered a broken collarbone in Week 9 and has not yet been cleared to return to the field, which has disappointed and frustrated the 2011 AP MVP. In his absence the Packers have 1-3-1, although they earned a 22-21 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14.
Matt Flynn is expected to start in the place of Rodgers once again. In two starts with the Packers in 2013, Flynn has tallied 615 yards passing, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Here is other news from Friday you may have missed:
The National Football League is considering “fundamental changes” to their replay system and the league is looking at the replay system of the National Hockey League for guidance. The NHL uses a centralized replay system where replays for all games are done in a single room with the same workers on a night-to-night basis. The system has brought consistency that the NFL is looking to replicate.
The Dallas Cowboys and cornerback Orlando Scandrick have reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension that will keep the defensive back with the team through the 2018 season. A fifth-round selection in the 2008 NFL Draft, Scandrick has taken over as a starting corner full-time for the Cowboys in 2013 although the team ranks as the NFL's worst at stopping the pass.
New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has been advised to sit out the remainder of the 2013 season with a shoulder injury that he suffered in Week 12. The two-time Pro Bowler has had a disappointing season with the Giants in 2013, tallying only two sacks in six starts and 11 appearances just two years removed from his 16.5-sack season of 2011.
After sitting out of practice with lingering neck pain, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee will reportedly sit out the team’s Week 15 game against the Green Bay Packers. Lee returned to the Cowboys lineup in Week 14 after a month on the sideline with a hamstring injury and practiced in full with the team on Wednesday. Lee leads the NFL in 2013 with 174 interception return yards.
