Buccaneers vs. Rams 2013 picks and predictions: St. Louis favored by experts
The St. Louis Rams are favored to best the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16, at least by the experts.
The St. Louis Rams are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Week 16 matchup on Sunday. The Rams are 6-8 on the season and out of the playoff race, but they're fighting to show they're better than most believe, especially given that they've fallen short of expectations this season.
Tampa Bay, on the other hand, is 4-10 on the season, and the future of its head coach, Greg Schiano, is in doubt. The Buccaneers are playing hard for their coach to be sure, but it wasn't enough to get them past the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15. The Rams, meanwhile, dominated the New Orleans Saints to make a statement in Week 15.
Experts are, accordingly, picking the Rams to win on Sunday. SB Nation’s panel of six experts -- Ryan Van Bibber, Joel Thorman, Jason Chilton, Stephen White, David Fucillo and Matt Ufford -- were unanimous in picking the Rams to hold off the Bucs at the Edward Jones Dome.
Over at CBS Sports, it’s the same situation. All eight of their experts picked the Rams, as did their “Prediction Machine.” Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora and Will Brinson were among those experts picking the Rams.
