The St. Louis Rams are favored to take down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16.
The St. Louis Rams are set to play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a Week 16 matchup on Sunday. The Rams are coming off a dominating victory over the New Orleans Saints that few saw coming, even with New Orleans playing on the road. The Rams executed on both sides of the ball and dominated one of the NFL's best teams.
Tampa Bay, on the other hand, played the San Francisco 49ers relatively close at home, but fell apart in the second half ultimately ended up with double digit losses on the season. At 4-10, they've recovered slightly from how bad they were at the beginning of the season, but are out of the playoff race, along with the Rams.
Still, the Rams have beat better teams, and are 6-8 on the season. St. Louis opened up as 4.5-point favorites to best the Buccaneers on Sunday. The line has only moved further in their favor throughout the week as well, according to OddsShark. Some sites had the Rams favored by a touchdown.
The over/under for the matchup opened at 42.5 points. That total has gone over in seven of Tampa Bay’s last 10 games, and over in six of St. Louis’ last eight games at home. It’s also gone under in six of Tampa Bay’s last eight games on the road.
