The Oakland Raiders are set to take on the San Diego Chargers in an AFC West matchup on Sunday. Oakland (4-10) is well out of the playoff race, but there's plenty of questions that still need to be answered. They'll enter the offseason with plenty of questions that need answering, as well. But at the end of the day, they're facing the Chargers, a rival, and want a win more than anything.

San Diego (7-7) is still technically in the playoff race, though they are an outside candidate. Losing to the Raiders in Week 16 would definitely extinguish their playoff hopes. It would be doubly demoralizing given that the Chargers managed an improbable 27-20 victory over the Broncos in Denver in Week 15.
The Chargers are, as expected, heavy favorites. San Diego opened as the 9.5-point favorite for the matchup, but the lines have only moved further in its favor throughout the week. Some sites have the Chargers favored by as much as 11.5 points, according to OddsShark.
San Diego is definitely benefiting from home-field advantage when it comes to the lines, but they’d be favored by at least a touchdown even on the road. The over/under for the matchup opened at 50.5 points. That total has gone over in six of Oakland’s last seven games and under in seven of San Diego’s last 10.
