Cowboys vs. Redskins 2013 picks and predictions: Dallas is a heavy favorite
Dallas’ playoff chances took a hit last week, but most experts picked the Cowboys to stay alive this week.

Despite blowing a 23-point lead in a loss to Green Bay last week, the Dallas Cowboys still control their own playoff destiny. But, in order to ensure they make the postseason for the first time since 2009, the Cowboys will have to win, beginning this week at Washington.
At 7-7, the Cowboys are currently a game behind Philadelphia in the NFC East. The teams will play next week and if Dallas wins, the Cowboys would own the tiebreaker. Still, for that game to mean something, the Cowboys need to win this week or hope Philadelphia loses. Dallas has a favorable matchup going against the 3-11 Redskins, and most NFL experts predict the Cowboys to come away with a road win.
Four of SB Nation’s six NFL experts picked the Cowboys to win. Jason Chilton and David Fucillo picked Washington.

CBS Sports’ eight NFL experts were even more in favor of Dallas, with seven picking the Cowboys. Jason La Canfora was the only expert who picked Washington. The Cowboys are a 3.5-point favorite, and five of the eight still picked Dallas when factoring in the point spread. John Breech predicts Dallas will win by a touchdown, 34-27.
