NFL injury report, Week 16: Adrian Peterson, Joe Flacco listed as questionable

A few teams are heading into the thick of the playoff race with some key players hobbled by injury.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens are hanging on to the final playoff spot in the AFC right now and have a huge game against the New England Patriots in Week 16. They're just hoping to have their starting quarterback ready to play by Sunday.

Joe Flacco took a low hit to the knee on Monday Night Football against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. He returned to the game without missing any time, but he has been limited in practice all week. He is officially listed as questionable for Baltimore's upcoming game against New England.

Here are some other key injuries to keep an eye on this weekend. Check out the full NFL injury report here.

Adrian Peterson questionable for Week 16

After injuring his foot and groin in Week 14, Peterson missed the Vikings' Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Peterson didn't practice at all leading up to that game and has not participated in practice this week, either. He's officially listed as questionable for the game.

Maurice Jones-Drew questionable against Titans

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew missed the team's Week 15 game with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Texans in a win the week before. He still hasn't practice, and his status for Sunday is up in the air. He's listed as questionable.

Lance Briggs questionable for Sunday

The Chicago Bears have a slim lead in the NFC North after a Detroit Lions loss in Week 15. They also could be getting linebacker Lance Briggs back this week. He's been limited in practice with a shoulder injury and is officially listed as questionable for Chicago's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
