The huge hit that ended the season of Bengals punter Kevin Huber, requiring him to have his fractured jaw wired shut, earned Steelers rookie linebacker Terence Garvin a $25,000 fine, according to Artrell Hawkins of WLWT in Cincinnati. The hit didn't draw a penalty during the game, but the league later admitted that it should have and that the 67-yard punt return touchdown by Antonio Brown should have come back.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was the subject of a rare fine for an offensive player, as his peel-back block on Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson earned the passer a $10,000 penalty. That matched Titans defensive end Kamerion Wimbley for the third-highest fine of the week. The Titans end earned a $10,000 fine, as well, for a roughing the passer penalty.

The second-biggest of the week belonged to Cardinals linebacker Marcus Bernard, who earned a $15,750 hit to the bank account for his roughing the passer penalty. His teammate and fellow linebacker Daryl Washington earned a $5,000 fine for taunting.

Rounding out the week's fines were $7,875 penalties given to Jaguars safety Winston Guy, Ravens safety Matt Elam and Colts offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus for unnecessary roughness, and a fine of the same levied against Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick for a facemask penalty.
