Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has joined a very small group in history with his 100th catch of the season. Johnson is now one of two players in NFL history to have five seasons of 100 catches or more. The veteran receiver caught a 33-yard pass from quarterback Matt Schaub against the Denver Broncos in the first quarter. Wes Welker is the only other player to collect 100 receptions in five seasons.
Andre Johnson becomes 2nd NFL player with 5 seasons of 100 or more receptions
The Texans may have had a major letdown on the season, but the star wide receiver has made history with his performance.

Johnson currently leads the NFL in receptions and has 1,328 receiving yards and six touchdowns on the season. Clearly, the Texans' forgotten 2013 season has not cost Johnson any personal success. Houston has had three different quarterbacks throw passes this season, but Johnson and rookie DeAndre Hopkins are still producing. Johnson is the team's all-time leader in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, receptions, games played and games started.
Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall can also join Welker and Johnson in the five-time 100 reception club this season. He is currently at 90 receptions on the season with two games left to play.
