Larry Fitzgerald, Carson Palmer expected to play for Cardinals vs. Seahawks

Both players are listed as questionable with injuries.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona has received some good news ahead of its tough clash with the division-leading Seahawks. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and quarterback Carson Palmer are both expected to play Sunday, Adam Schefter is reporting.

Both players were listed as questionable -- Fitzgerald with a concussion, Palmer with elbow and ankle injuries -- and their presence should provide an offensive boost for the Cardinals. Neither player has missed a game this season.

In his first year with Arizona, Palmer has completed 64.5 percent of his passes (his highest total since 2007) for 3,689 yards and 21 touchdowns, helping to lead the Cardinals to a 9-5 record. Fitzgerald has been his top target, catching 73 passes for 823 yards and 10 touchdowns, already surpassing his numbers from last season.

Arizona is one game out of the wild card picture, behind division rival San Francisco and the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals desperately need to win this game to stay in the playoff picture.
