When Chip Kelly brought his exciting college offense to the NFL, the Eagles were thought to be a perfect fit due to the presence of Michael Vick, the all-time career leader in rushing yards by a quarterback. Philadelphia struggled with Vick starting, however, going 2-4 and bringing questions about the offense’s viability in the NFL.
In came Nick Foles, however, who has led the Eagles to a 6-2 record as the team's starter, vaulting them to first place in the NFC East and a likely playoff spot.
Vick is averaging 8.6 yards per passing attempt this season -- the highest of his career -- and 9.1 yards per rushing attempt (the most since his rookie season). However, injuries have hampered the former star, and he has been relegated to a bench spot.
