Henry Melton arrested for assault, public intoxication, per report
Out for the season with an ACL tear, Melton was arrested Saturday in Grapevine, Tex.

Melton, a one-time Pro Bowler, played in just three games this season before tearing his ACL in late September against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had three tackles and one fumble recovery in those three games.
Melton had a similar incident during his senior year at the University of Texas in 2007, when he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in downtown Austin.
The Bears have missed the six-foot-three, 295-pound defender's presence inside this season. They rank last in the league against the run, allowing over 154 yards per game and 5.3 yards per carry. They are currently locked in a battle with the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North and a playoff berth.
