Peyton Manning ties single-season touchdown record
The Broncos quarterback threw his 50th touchdown pass in the fourth quarter against the Texans on Sunday, tying Tom Brady’s record from 2007.
Peyton Manning tied the NFL's single-season touchdown record on Sunday with his 50th touchdown pass of the season.
Playing the Houston Texans, Manning hit Eric Decker on a 20-yard shot down the left side of the field for his third touchdown of the day. That makes it 50 for the season, with half the fourth quarter left to play. That also makes him the first player in NFL history with 5,000 passing yards and 50 touchdowns.

Through 15 games and 16 weeks of the season, Manning has 5,186 yards, 50 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
He breaks Tom Brady's record for the most touchdown passes in a single season. Brady set the record in 2007, leading the Patriots to a 16-0 record in the regular season. Brady had 4,806 yards, 50 TDs, and eight interceptions in 578 passing attempts that year.
