The Seattle Seahawks lost their first home game in nearly two years on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to topple the NFC leaders from the marquee spot in the composite rankings, although the Denver Broncos certainly closed the gap.
NFL power rankings 2013, Week 17: Seahawks still cling to top spot
A loss to the Cardinals in Week 17 still didn’t knock the Seahawks from the top spot in the composite power rankings.

Behind the top seeds in the AFC and NFC, the Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots all closely followed in a near dead heat for third in the rankings.
At the bottom remain the Houston Texans and Washington Redskins, who continued their respective losing streaks.
