The Seattle Seahawks are the team favored to hold the Lombardi Trophy in February, with the Denver Broncos just behind them in the Las Vegas odds, according to R.J. Bell of ESPN radio and Grantland.
2014 Super Bowl odds: Seahawks favored to win
The Seahawks and Broncos are the unsurprising favorites to make the Super Bowl.

After earning the top seeds in their respective conferences, it's not surprising that oddsmakers favor the Seahawks and Broncos to duel in the Super Bowl, while the Chargers sit at the bottom with 40/1 odds at becoming the NFL's champions.
Here are the full list of odds to win Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium (via Bell):
| Team | Odds |
| Seattle Seahawks | 2/1 |
| Denver Broncos | 5/2 |
| New England Patriots | 7/1 |
| San Francisco 49ers | 7/1 |
| Carolina Panthers | 10/1 |
| Cincinnati Bengals | 16/1 |
| Green Bay Packers | 16/1 |
| New Orleans Saints | 25/1 |
| Indianapolis Colts | 25/1 |
| Philadelphia Eagles | 25/1 |
| Kansas City Chiefs | 30/1 |
| San Diego Chargers | 40/1 |
Perhaps the most surprising is the lack of faith in the Chiefs, who finished the year with an 11-5 record after starting the year 9-0. The Chiefs lost to the Chargers in overtime of Week 17 after sitting most of their top offensive playmakers and will face the Colts in the first round of the playoffs.
