The second-year cornerback suffered a setback with his hamstring injury and will not play on Monday.

Claiborne went down with the injury in Week 8 and missed two games. He tried to return in Week 12 against the New York Giants, but aggravated it and hasn't played since. Orlando Scandrick will replace him in the starting lineup, with B.W. Webb playing in the nickel spot.
Claiborne was a first-round pick out of LSU in 2012, but his NFL career has been plagued by injuries and poor play. Before the hamstring injury, he lost his starting job to Scandrick. Claiborne is unlikely to get the starting spot back even when he’s healthy. In nine games, he has one interception, 24 tackles, six passes defended and a fumble recovery.
