Jackson was effective against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13, catching three passes for 75 yards. He was limited in practice throughout the week, and it was unclear whether he would be available on Sunday. Jackson reportedly told a friend he is a "fast healer," allowing him to work out pre-game. He is expecting to play according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Playoffs are out of reach for Tampa Bay, turning the season's focus to evaluation for next year. Rookie quarterback Mike Glennon has played extremely well since taking over for Josh Freeman, placing himself in the conversation for rookie of the year honors. Having Jackson available is vital to cement his claim and could ultimately save the job of head coach Greg Schiano.
The Week 14 game will be the first time Glennon faces first-round pick E.J. Manuel, who has been inconsistent and injured during his rookie season.
