Foster is considering an ablation that hopes to correct an irregular heartbeat problem that forced him out of the Texans' Week 16 match-up against the Minnesota Vikings. He revealed to Flanagan that he's been dealing with this issue since he was 12-years-old and has had about eight occurences of a racing heart beat. This is the first time it's happened during a game.
Foster believes his heart issue may be related to stress, and usually leads to shortness of breath. It doesn’t appear to affect his on-field performance, as he rushed for 1,411 yards and 15 touchdowns in the 2012 season, but it’s concerning enough for the 26-year-old to consider going under the knife.
