No team in the NFL needs more quarterbacking help than the Arizona Cardinals -- just ask Ken Whisenhunt.
Drew Stanton could follow Cardinals HC Bruce Arians
Drew Stanton isn’t reminding anyone of Jim Hart, but he could be an upgrade for the Cardinals.

Arizona trotted out the unfortunate likes of John Skelton and Ryan Lindley last season, making Matt Leinart look like Johnny Unitas. Now, the National Football Post is saying that Drew Stanton may come to the Cardinals, following head coach Bruce Arians from Indianapolis.
Stanton certainly isn’t a starting quarterback in the NFL, but he’s a capable backup. The addition of Stanton would allow Arizona to mercifully cut ties with Lindley, who frankly should never be allowed to throw another pass.
Even if Arizona started Stanton, it would still be an upgrade, which is really saying something about the situation in the desert. In his career, Stanton has 1,1,58 yards in five seasons, four with the Detroit Lions and last year with the Colts.
The Cardinals are certainly a contender to draft a quarterback this April, holding the No. 7 overall selection.
