Percy Harvin rumors: Vikings WR worth 3rd-round NFL Draft pick

The Vikings are may be looking to deal Percy Harvin after four injury-plagued years.

The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly willing to trade star wide receiver Percy Harvin if the price is right.

According to Ian Rapoport, Minnesota is likely to only fetch a third-round draft pick for its talent, mostly because of his repeated injury concerns. Harvin has all the tools of greatness, but he hasn’t been healthy on a consistent basis.

Last season, Harvin only played in nine games but put up terrific numbers in that limited action, catching 62 passes for 677 yards and scoring four touchdowns, including one on a kick return.

Harvin has only played 16 games once in his four-year career, back in 2011 when he had 967 receiving yards.

There will be no shortage of suitors for Harvin, with a multitude of teams needing help on the outside. Look for a number of organizations including the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs to get involved.

If the Vikings were to deal Harvin, wide receiver would immediately become a top priority in the free agent market and subsequent draft.
