The Buffalo Bills have issues on both sides of the ball, something general manager Buddy Nix is aware of.
Buddy Nix says Bills need ‘young’ tight end
Buffalo has plenty of needs, including a tight end according to its general manager.

Nix, who has been on as the GM in Buffalo since December of 2009, is concerned about Scott Chandler’s long term viability with the franchise, saying that a younger tight end is needed in Western New York.
Chandler is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered in December against the Miami Dolphins, opening up a starting spot at least for the first few months of next season.
Drafting eighth overall, it’s impossible to see Buffalo taking a tight end there with many other needs to fill, possibly including quarterback.
In the second round, the Bills still have more pressing needs but could draft a tight end. A few names could be available that Buffalo simply can't pass up on including Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame and Zach Ertz of Stanford.
Both would be steals at that point in the draft, especially Eifert, who is considered the top prospect at tight end.
