Defensive lineman Chris Canty was cut by the New York Giants this offseason because of salary cap issues, making him one of the more attractive defensive free agents on the market.
Chris Canty deciding between Chiefs, Titans
Chris Canty is looking toward the future and picking between a couple of AFC squads.

In 2012, Canty was hurt and only played in nine games, amassing three sacks and 26 tackles. It was the worst year for the 30-year-old since 2009, his first with the Giants.
Still, Canty has a solid track record and is attracting the attention of the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs. Mike Garafolo has been all over the different Canty developments and believes talks at the combine could decide where the lineman goes.
Both teams would make sense on the surface. Tennessee likes to have a rotation on its defensive line, and could use a veteran presence among so many young players. Jimmy Morris breaks it all down over at Music City Miracles, discussing what Canty would bring to Nashville.
Kansas City needs some linemen with Glenn Dorsey likely to leave via free agency and Tyson Jackson perhaps gone because of a ridiculously high $14 million cap number. Joel Thorman talked about Canty's visit to the Chiefs over at Arrowhead Pride.
The Chiefs are also attractive because they could get good quick with a new coach in Andy Reid and potentially a new quarterback in the draft.
