Jacoby Jones will be on Dancing With The Stars

Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones won a Super Bowl in February and will try to win Dancing with the Stars in May.

USA TODAY Sports

Jacoby Jones will be the latest football player to compete on Dancing With The Stars. The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver was featured on a commercial during the Oscars promoting the show, confirming an earlier report from Rumor Fix.

"Jacoby Jones just won a Super Bowl ring. What's he going to do next? DANCE," the commercial said while Jones was pictured,

The contestants for the newest season of the show will be announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday. It is the 16th season of the show, which will debut on March 18 and will run into May.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver won the show last May, becoming the third NFL player to win disco ball trophy after Emmitt Smith and Hines Ward. Athletes from other sports have competed, most recently in the fall when the All-Star season brought back former contestants, including speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno, gymnast Shawn Johnson, driver Helio Castroneves and Smith.

Jones is coming off one of the greatest Super Bowls ever, where he set a Super Bowl record with a 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He also became the first player to have a receiving touchdown and return touchdown in the same Super Bowl, while his 290 all-purpose yards were also a record.
