The San Francisco 49ers' comeback is still on, but it's not quite there yet. Colin Kaepernick scored from 15 yards out, setting a new Super Bowl record for longest touchdown run by a quarterback, but the two-point conversion failed so the 49ers still trail the Baltimore Ravens 31-29.

The 49ers had a chance to tie the game after Colin Kaepernick scored, but the failed two-point conversion keeps the Ravens in front 31-29.
Kapernick got the drive going on second down when he picked out Randy Moss for 32 yards down the left side. Moss was wide open, taking advantage of a blown coverage, and the 49ers were off and running at the Ravens' 39.
Frank Gore kept the 49ers' momentum going with a 21-yard carry to the 18-yard line. After a short run, Kaepernick dropped back, felt the rush and took off down the left side where he found daylight. The speedy quarterback scampered into the end zone for six.
Down by two, the 49ers went for two to try and tie the game, but Ed Reed blew it up. He timed his blitz perfectly, forced an early throw that was nowhere near a receiver and kept the Ravens in front.
